change button of one form by clicking onother form button

You have to save form1 id in static variable like below in Program.cs(you can choose any other file) public static Form1 frm = null; frm = new Form1(); Application.Run(frm); on click on Form2 button use this code to search var control =Program.frm.Controls.Find(button1 true); if (control != null) control.FirstOrDefault().BackColor = Color.Red; Hope this help.
