change the datetime after one year without user interaction

Hi In my database I have a columns with names IdName DOJ . If the joining date is 08-07-2015after one year exactly the date time should be automatically shown as 08-07-2016.This must be come by default in the Database and without any user interaction.. How do I set that type of Default Date?

Hello first you have to create a job scheduler in sql which execute daily to update date of join which matches with today's date. Update Query : UPDATE DOJ SET DOJ = GETDATE() FROM table_name WHERE MONTH(DOJ) = MONTH(GETDATE()) AND DATEPART(DAYDOJ)= DATEPART(DAY GETDATE()) Put this query in job scheduler which will run daily on a particular time what you schedule. It will update DOJ in table without any interaction.
