change the dropdown value according to textbox value.

Question

I have a table with emp code and empname and in my design page i have a textbox and dropdown value i want to change the ddl to employee name according to empcode typing in textbox

i bind emmployee details in pageload textfield as empname and value field as empid

i saw your code you did nt bind the employee details to dropdown. 1st get the details of employee and bind it to drop down. in textfield employee name and in value field employee id

h8i textbox textchanged event just assign the textbox value to selectedvalue ofthe dropdownlist. plz share your code what you did . i will modify if required.
