char array to string

Question

I want to convert a char array to a single string (not an array) and I just cant get it to work. I've tried some thing like this: for (int i = 0; i<chars.Length; i++) { olle = olle + chars[i].ToString(); } Where olle is previosly declared as a string. Any tips?

Hi char[] chars = new char[10]; string s = chars.ToString(); -> content of string: System.Char[] -> so this will not work. Cheers Simon

im pretty sure that if you have char letters[50]; string word; you can do word = letters.ToString ();
