checkedlistbox with database

Question

Hello please can you help me I have 3 tables I- Users (idU_namepass ) II- Privileges ( Pri_numPri_Type ) III- Users_Privileges (idPri_num ) and i have checkedlistbox used to show the items of Table II ( Pri_Type ) and the value of these items also from Table II ( Pri_num ) and the idea now that when i add a new user and the checked for one or more of the checkedlistbox data is stored in Table III by ( id ) for this user with The value of the checkedlistbox ( Pri_num ) how to do it please help me to do it in my programs note: i used c# 2008 and sql server 2005 enterprise thank you for your cooperation

It's the datatype issue in DB. DB is expecting integer(number) like 4555 but u r passing some alpha charaters like 'shdgfhd' for one of the input fields check the userid and pri_num value while inserting data into Users_Privileges

thank you for your cooperation it make this mistake Unable to cast object of type 'System.Data.DataRowView' to type 'System.String'. i change it to foreach ( DataRowView chk in checkedListBox1.CheckedItems) { mycmd = insert into Users_Privileges (id pri_type) values (' + txtUserID.Text + ' ' + chk + ') ; cmd = new SqlCommand (mycmd connect); cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); } after that make mistake Error converting data type varchar to bigint. by checkedlistbox

thank you for your cooperation but when i execute your code it make one error this error is System.windows.forms.checkedlistedbox doesn't contain a definition for 'Checked' and on extenstion method 'Checked' accepting a first argument of type ' system.windows.forms.checkedlistbox could be found ( are you missing a usind dirctive or an assembly reference?) note: sorry but the tird table User_Privileges (User_numPri_num) not Pri_Type i mistake to write

first thing i'm so sorry and i don't repeate that again. second thing thank you for your cooperation i know that is way but my problem i don't know how to do like that I will explain better what I want to specifically i have one interface that content 3 textboxs  checkedlistbox and only one button when i click it after entering the new data and check the items from checkedlistboxthe new data of user store into Users table and the value of checkeditems with the id of user store in Users_Privileges table so how to do it please note: inserting everyitems that checked in the checkedlistbox

first thing ignore this red color.. its dangerous for our eyes when we read it.. so do you want when newuser is created at that time you want to insert data into the table3 that is Users_Privileges . .? for that you can use button click event.. suppose there is button named create user  on that button's click event you can use the insert operation which will insert data in table3 based on the checkboxes selected..
