close or refresh parent window

I am using WPF and C# and I wanted to know if there is a known method to close or better refresh a parent window after on_click (save) from the child window? Thank You Neo

In the codebehind use this code in onclick of button ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock( this .GetType() ClosePopUp  window.close();window.opener.form1.submit();  true ); Thanks Jalajakshi
