Close window By Code

Question

I use a code in Window programming using C#

this.close();

this code close open window and after that no code execute which is written after the " this.close();".

I required a code by which when i close a one window then a next window should open without the use of parenting concept.

can any one do my help?

look into using the OnClosing event for the form. FYI....you won't be able to close the startup form.

hi I think there are a few posibilities to do this: 1. you code in Program.cs creating an event handler and treating there each window close and from where you can create new windows all the time 2. you have a window where you treat the OnClose using its CloseEventArgs.Cancel set to true and then hide it and show another one hope this helps Johnny
