CLSCompliantAttribute

Question

Hello everyone Suppose my C# application is pure managed code (C#) for such types of application CLSCompliantAttribute should be always true? Thanks slysle If I mark it as true but actually my code violates the rules of CLS complaint the non-complaint errors will be reported by compiler automatically? regards George

It is an attribute and typically used to mark assemblies when the intent is to share the content across languages; it further indicates that the naming conventions and whatnot comply with the rules. It is not a requirement to make or mark an assembly as cls compliant and you can mark them as non-compliant by setting the attribute to false if you prefer.
