Comparing 2 grids

Question

I have 2 datagrids in my form and each of them has over 8000 rows. There is only 1 common column which is numeric. And I want to compare those 2 grids via this numeric colum. There are 6 columns to be compared. What would be the fastest way to do it? I tried to filter 2nd grid for each row in 1st grid, it does what I wanna do but very slow. It takes like 5 mins. I wanna be able to do it much faster, like within 2 mins if it's possible.

Thanks guys. I used datatables instead. I get the data from a csv files via streamreader and from sql db via linq. It works much faster now. I knew I shouldn't waste my time with datagrids.

As Vasanth indicates if the grids are bound to tables it is better to use the tables to compare the data. The columns in common probably should be the primary key for the tables and I think there is a way to link the tables using the primary keys. Then you could probably just write a SQL query or a couple of queries to do the comparison. If the data is not in tables then you can put the data into tables to compare the data or you could put the data into collections to compare. You might be able to use LINQ to help do the compare but I don't yet understand LINQ well enough to help with that.

Try to use to datatable or from database side to compare..Don't compare two datagrids.
