Components

Question

Hi I know this will sound very newbish but I'm new to VB.NET. I wanted to know how to add a component to a form like you did in VB6 when it would actually be invisible on your form while programming but not when the program was run. I can only add mswinsck.ocx as a COM reference and not as a component on the form. Thanks

nm I figured it out.. It was actually the Customize Toolbox button when you right click on the toolbox.

when you right click on the toolbar you get a big menu one of them is Add/Remove Items (thats the one u want) Add Tab is there too but u dont use that one

This is VS.NET 2003. I remember adding compononets like that in VB6 but the only add button in 2003 is an Add Tab while rightclicking the toolbox. Any other suggestions ?

right click ur toolbar go to add/remove Items then go to the COM tab locate the component ur after add it to ur list and hit ok it should now be added to your toolbar which you can drag onto ur form.
