confirmation alert from code-behind (in If- Condition)

Question

Hi all I need to put an alert from code-behind on certain conditions. Please help me out - My aspx page and aspx.cs code are as follows -

If number of rows selected is more than zero ; then the user will click on Yes button 3. On Yes button click - the system will ask -Are you sure these are correct details ? 4. Check if user have clicked on OK or Cancel button. If OK - proceed with update query. If Cancel - do nothing. ----- Please guide ... its urgent

Hi You are looking for a kind of confirmation alert on user confirmation you need to do teh action I suggest why to take the control to server and get confirmation from user again better can do the client side confirmation. As Bhuvanesh said once the modal opens up the control is purely at client end (browser). So you can find the value that user clicked. If yes then from javascript see if you can do Ajax call to your backend method that you want to execute. If not ajax then try to trigger a post back from javascript passing the value selected by user in the message box as a posted value.

If you want the code behind at any cost then go for the windows control This need  system.windows.forms  assembly to be added to your project Here is an example. You can try something like this. var confirmResult = MessageBox.Show(Are you sure to delete this item ?? Confirm Delete!! MessageBoxButtons.YesNo); if (confirmResult == DialogResult.Yes) { // If 'Yes' do something here. } else { // If 'No' do something here. } You can also try MessageBoxButtons.OKCancel instead of MessageBoxButtons.YesNo. It depends on your requirements.
