connect to sql database from network

how can i connect sql server on the network from my computer i alreadyused connection string to connect another system but i am getting errors  tell me any sharing settings for sql server

Try Connection String Like below One Data Source = myServerAddress ; Database = myDataBase ; User ID = myUsername ; Password = myPassword ; Trusted_Connection = False ; and Make Sure that U have Enabled Remote Connection In SQL Server Configurations To Enable Remote Connection Go To SQL Server Surface Area Configuration>>Surface Area Conflagration For Services and Connection >>Remote Connections Select Using both TCP/IP or Named Pipe Restart SQL Server Service or Computer

hi The settings are different for different kinds of connections for eg a network server with SQL server authentication would have the following connection string: connectionString= Data Source=Random;Initial Catalog=Finances;Integrated Security=SSPI;User ID=sa;Password=test; Hope that helps.
