Connection string with Oracle DB in ASP Dotnet

Question

I am connecting Oracle DB with my ASP.Net project but i am getting error Attempt to load Oracle client libraries threw BadImageFormatException. This problem will occur when running in 64 bit mode with the 32 bit Oracle client components installed Please any one can help

Hi I guess you are referencing the Oracle dll S ystem.Data.OracleClient.dll in your project. Now my best guess is this would be a 32 bit dll. You will have a 64 bit dll of the same name in the Oracle Installed directory . Try referencing that in the project . The problem is your system is 64 bit so the oracle dll should also be 64 bit .
