Connection with .NET

Question

Hi I am trying to connect MySQL from .NET. I have installed MySQL properly. Also I have installed .NET connector. But I am getting error Unable to connect Server. Thanks VIkram

Seems You have Problem in Connection String of C# code .. can you post your Connection string here ...?

Thanks Lalit Actually Database is working fine and also I tried start and stop of MySQL Service. My problem is that I can not connect it from .NET. It gives MySQLException that Unable to connect server. Thanks VIkram

Try start/stop the mysql service on the server by logging into the server as root from the command line interface and run the following command/s. service mysql stop service mysql start service mysql restart You can also use the following. /etc/init.d/mysql start /etc/init.d/mysql stop
