Convert image to text

Question

Hi  i have a scanned image file which contains some texts. i want to convert this image file into a .txt file using C#. How do i do this?.. Help me pls.. without using ocr software Thank you.. Regards nani

you can use tesseract ocr engine it's the best open source ocr library i used. and before you starting you can go to this free online image to text converter(http://www.online-code.net/ocr.html) using tesseract ocr 3.02 to have a test it's with high accuracy and speed.

I tried Tesseract a while back in my project and it was one of the most accurate free OCR engines but the results I got were not as accurate nor fast as I desired so I tried other free engines and had similar problems. I did a quick search for OCR libraries and I winded up using a toolkit called leadtools that gave me faster and more accurate results.
