I got answer.. System.Globalization.CultureInfo info = new System.Globalization.CultureInfo(en-US); String.Format(info Convert.ToString({0:$###0.00}) Convert.ToDouble(5.35)); This gives result for 2 decimal places

If the current culture doesn't use dollars as its currency then the easiest way is to just stick a dollar sign on the front of the number formatted to 2 decimal places: decimal d = 123.4m; string dollars = $ + d.ToString(F); Console.WriteLine(dollars); // $123.40 More generally you can do this: var ci = System.Globalization.CultureInfo.GetCultureInfo(en-us); string dollars2 = d.ToString(C ci); Console.WriteLine(dollars2); // $123.40
