Convert WinForm to WebForm

Question

Hi All, I need to convert an application from WinForm to WebForm and I am using Silverlight. Anyone had an experience with doing something like that? please advise..thanks in advance

I think it is imposible to convert A Winform application to Webform, even with the tools, it may also lose some back codes.

It does convert most of the ui Code to xaml code but not the code behind.

Actually, there is a framework that does it. www.visualwebgui.com is an open source framework. You can read about porting WinForms application to web in that article and probably other places on the website. I have been using it before (but not to convert from WinForm) and it is like you are using WinForms to develop web.

It's not possible to convert a WinForm to WebForm or XAML page. You'll have to rewrite it.
