Converting Pdf to Excel

Question

Is there any way to convert a PDF document to Excel with all the data in the same manner as that in PDF without using any API or 3rd Party software in Java. Would appreciate if I could get any alternate solution for this problem. Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge the PDF and Excel formats are not natively supported by Java. You can try using open source SDKs under Java similar to iText but I am not sure if they have the ability to save PDF to Excel. Alternatively you could try using the document conversion features from LEADTOOLS under Java. They provide the ability to read/write different document formats including PDF and Excel. That you for sharing the links. But as I went through the links I found that most of them use 3rd party API's. But I have been asked in my company not use any 3rd party API's and need to extract data from PDF to Excel.

Thank you for your reply. But what I actually needed was the reverse of that. Need to convert PDF to Excel.
