Cookies Expire

Hi Dudes When i geting the expiration time of cookies it return ' 01-Jan-01 12:00:00 AM ' this time either i am chaning the its expiration date can any one tell me why this is happining...?

when ever i am geting the expiration time of cookies it retunrs this '01-Jan-01 12:00:00 AM' although i have not set this expiration time why it showing this result....?
