Count data and display in gridview

Hi friends I'm new with asp.net I want to count data in sql query and display that counted data in a gridview column please help

Hello you can use count(Column_name) in select query to count tottal records like : select count(EmployeeId) from tb_Employee Like that you can get total number of records and can pass to the label or anything else Mark as accepted if it is helpful Thanks
