why c++ is not pure object oriented language???

Hi A language is called pure object oriented if it contains only objects and classes. In it we do access everything through 'Message Passing'. But when we take the case of C++ though we can have classes and objects it is not necessary that we use them every time to write a program . Thus c++ can be considered as a Semi OOP language . However if you are very particular in using an OOP that is based on C then you may use Objective C which is an OOP language .
