create a dropdownlist using button

hi can we create a drop down list by using a button instead of using menu strip.By using menu control we can add items into it. but I want to know that is possible to create dropdownlist to a button. if anyone know.pls reply. regards srinivas

Hi there. You can do this by creating your menu set its display to none then on the client side onclick event you can change display from none to block. The menu itself i.e. the ul could be interchanged with what ever you want for example it could be a series of div's or If you are that way inclined it could be a table.
