create the thumbnails of various images in vb.net

hi I want to create the thumbnails of various images(*.tiff*.jpeg....) from an specified folder.I had tried several methods but all in vain.Kindly give me info regarding this...

You don't say whether you want a VB.net solution or otherwise. Programatically you can iterate through each file in the directory and use the GetThumbNailImage() method to resize it. It would look something like this... Image.FromFile(ImageFilenameVar).GetThumbnailImage(newWidth newHeight ImageAbortCallbackProc IntPtr.Zero).Save(ThumbnailSaveDir\ + ImageFilenameVar); The above is C# but should easily translate to VB.NET Anyway GetThumbnailImage() is probably what you are interested in.
