Creating a Survey Report in ASPNET C#

Question

Hi I have been given a 3rd Final year project to create a report from a certain survey and require any kind of help I can get. I am required to send a list of questionnaires with preferably 3 questions which a user can choose a answer from as an email to multiple users and the users are required to reply to that questionnaire and send back an email reply and the system is supposed to generate a report based on that reply. How do I go about creating this solution because I don't have a clue where to start any information provided would be very useful. Regard Nkululeko.

I am not sure I understand what you need but if I do then you could send a link in an email message ant that link goes to a web site. Also in the link is a parameter that identifies the person that was sent the message. So that when the recipient clicks the link the web site knows who it is without the person having to identify themselves. Then after the survey the web site sends an email message with the results. Note that all of this is a suggestion and you might not want to do it this way.

How much experience do you have with C# and .NET? Any experience with ASP.NET? I am not sure if building a survey as a part of an email is a good idea. Are you allowed to create a Web application? It's probably easy for you to build a simple Website that can be hosted on some free hosting companies yahoo hosting or MS hosting and invite your users to come there. Store all answers in an XML file or a small database (Access Text XML) and then generate report from that. To generate a report you could simply use the Report Viewer control.
