Crystal Report

Hi!

I already discussed about the crystal report in the blog earlier, i am satisfied with that answer.

Now i have another doubt in the crystal report applicaition. That is , i want to create the crystal report using the spreadsheet data's. It is possilbe to create the report using the spreadsheet data. Please clear my doubt regarding this. If it is possible tell me procedure how to create using spreadsheet.

Do you know how to generate a report from a DataSet? If not check the Crystal Reports section of this site to learn that. Back to your problem this is what you do: 1. Load data from your Excel sheet to a DataSet. If you do not know this search this site (not forums) by clicking on C# Corner Home link and click Search on home. You will see many code samples 2. Use DataSet to generate your report. Before you generate a report. save your DataSet to a XML/DSD file and use that XSD file to generate the format of the report at design-time.
