crystal report

Question

i am just making a report using vs.net2005 which will contain data from my database. it is done almost. but now i am creating a report which will show the data according to the selected date. means the data between the two dates. help me with this

Hi kirtan i am using a local database made in ms-access. i have a table named: tblantivirus. it contains fields like licenseId licenseKey keyFile activationDate ExpiryDate. i want to generate a crystal report which will have two dateTimePicker boxes and in which i will fill the dates and the report will generate and show the generated report containing the details from that database table between those two dates. those dates will be the expiry dates. that is the report will generate the report between those dates. help me out.

I suggest the following solution. - set your default value for parameter to history (a date that you know will never be used in this report in my example it is set to 1.1.2007) - add if statement to Select Expert: If {?PDate}=date(200711) Then {Invoice.InvoiceDate} = CurrentDate else {Invoice.InvoiceDate} = {?PDate} I have found this solution useful although it would be easier if you could just set value to CurrentDate. The suggested solution uses current date as a default but also allows users to select their own date as a parameter. And please don't forget to Check Do You Like This answer if this has helped you.
