hi all! is it possible to use Crystal Reports (any version) to attach to an SQL server2005 DB for the purpose of producing reports? how to do that? thnx in advance!

Hello Seema yes it is possible to use any version of Crystal Reports to attach to an SQL server2005. you can do it by wizardevery version of crystal reports have Database Expert.you can do this in this way: chosse field explorer --> right click on Database field folder and open Database Expert --> In the Database Expert dialog box expand the Create New Connection folder ---> expand Oledb(ado) folder and choose SQL Native Client and go to next ....(see attached .jpg file) Thanks Please mark as answere if it helps
