customised buttons

dear self! I'm a beginner in .net . I want to create customised button with round edges. like one we have to click for coming to this page . like the "new thread" button in "http://216.26.160.137/Forums/AspNetForums20/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=3". or like buttons in xp. how do create such buttons. pls help me out . bye jas

You could completely skip the usage of a Form Button and instead make your own by detecting Mouse -down/-click in the form. Like: private void Form_MouseDown(object sender System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs e) { if(m_Button.CheckHit(this e) == true) { ...do whatever... } } and keep the actual check in a class: class Button { public bool CheckHit(Form form System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs e) { if( (e.X > m_Location.X) && ( e.X m_Location.Y) && (e.Y < (m_Location.Y + m_ButtonBitmap.Height))) { m_bFired = true ; return true; } } return false; } where m_Location is a Point defining the (XY)-position of your Button in the form. Of course you can make your buttons with transparent backgrounds and make the corners round but this check just checks the bitmap rectangle. Hope this helps.
