Data Archival logic for Huge Database size

Question

Dear Members,

I used one of the Application which's database size huge near about 2GB (application.mdf). Therefore, my application goes very slow or hangout or runtime error (EndTask). What can i do? Any data archival logic for solving this problem?

Please provide me this one.
