Data Bindings

Question

I am binding my listbox items with textboxes etc everything works fine except when i refresh stuff and getting error that data source is already binded etc :/ this is my code any help pls.

                list_event.DataSource = ds.Tables["tblEvents"];
                txt_eventName.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables["tblEvents"], "event_title");
                dateTime_eventTime.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables["tblEvents"], "event_date");
                txt_description.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables["tblEvents"], "event_description");
                txt_eventVenue.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables["tblEvents"], "event_venue");

                label5.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables["tblEvents"], "event_title");
                label6.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables["tblEvents"], "event_venue");
                label7.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables["tblEvents"], "event_date");
                label8.DataBindings.Add("text", ds.Tables["tblEvents"], "event_description");

write your code under the page load method in the if(!ispostback) { } I think it will work

If you must rebind then try: ((CurrencyManager)list_event.BindingContext[list_event.DataSource]).Refresh();

Exception is :Items collection cannot be modified when the DataSource property is set.

You say  when i refresh stuff and getting error that data source is already binded . The and implies that there are two different problems so I need to ask if that is what you meant. Do you mean to say that when you refresh stuff there is a problem (if so then what is the problem) and you are also getting an error? Normally we let the IDE take care of things like this. You can create a data source and then drag a field from the data source and drop it onto the form. Why are you re-binding the controls? It is unlikely you need to do that.
