DataAdapter functionality in detail

Question

Hi

I am curious to see how the DataAdapter works in detail. Maybe even see some code?? I would like to see how it handles the result from SQL and how it goes on to fill a dataset or datatable.

I tried Googling, but came up empty. I was hoping that someone might know of some articles or other write-ups that covers the subject?

Thanks but that's not really what I'm looking for. I know how to use DataAdapters. I want to know how they work. I'm looking for the gory details sorta speak. THe more I Google the more examples of how to use DapaAdapter I find while I'm actually looking for how the inner workings work. Regards
