Database Read-Only Problem

Question

I have attached the database to the SQL server 2005 but after it got attached it is showing read-only. Can anyone help why it is showing this. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi friend Here is the few workaround you can try out: 1) Make sure it wasn't read-only when you detatched it? ALTER DATABASE MyDatabaseName SET READ_WRITE Add WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE if the DB is in use and its doesn't let you. 2) In the admin tools (Control Panel)go to services  open the one for SQL Server(SQLEXPRESS) go to log on tab change the login credentials to Local System Account restart the service and then try to attach the database again.
