DataGird View sorting using c#

Question

hello friends do you have any idea how can i make Data Grid View in sorting order.... is it possible or not.. in C#... if yes then please tell me how can i do it.... thanks in Advance

I did not suggest sorting the database; I said  data source is sorted . There is a difference between the database and a data source for the database. You can sort the data source without changing the database. In otehr words you can add an Order By clause to the SQL although you probably don't need to do that directly. I don't know what you are using for the data source. If you don't mind explaining what you are using as a data source then I can help you further. Did you create a data source in the Data Sources window?

hello friend Well i know i can make a sorting through columns... but i don't want that .. i want to show sorting data in data Grid View..... and in Database data is not sorting so please let me know how can i do it..... Thanks in Advance

If Data in database is not sorted still you can sort it after filling it into DataGridView by Clicking Header of Column on which you want to sort Data in dataGridView :)

A DataGridView is normally bound to a data source and if the data source is sorted then the data will be shown sorted.
