DataGridView - independent columns

Question

Hi I want to have a datagridview in such a way that when the grid is populated the first column is fixed. By this i mean if the horizontal scroll bar is moved the column is never and the remaining columns disappear behind the first. Im not sure where to start. Any help would/will be much appreciated. Hi replace with your object names -: gridView.Columns[ColumnName].Frozen=true; please tell me if it was worth it.
