DataReader and DataSet

Hi..........
I am using ado.net in our application and face a problem in Datareader and Data Set. Define the Datareader? ADO.NET is Disconnected Architecture. DataReader is connected Architecture, but DataReader is a part of ADO.NET. How is it possible?

I think it is another example of confusing Microsoft terminology. It is better to just ignore it.

Hi Rajesh ADO.Net is the new database technology of the .NET (platform and it builds on Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects. ADO.net has both connected & disconnected architecture. The architecture of ADO.net in which data retrieved from database can be accessed even when connection to database was closed is called as disconnected architecture The architecture of ADO.net in which connection must be opened to access the data retrieved from database is called as connected architecture. Connected architecture was built on the classes connection command datareader and transaction.
