hi in VB.net i want the code for formatting date i want the current date to be sent as DATE type format is : 2012-03-10T15:57:24.000Z Thanks

What exactly are you trying to achieve here? The Date object in Java isn't really the same as the Date object in VB.NET. For example if you apply the toString() method to a Java Date object then the format you get is: dow mon dd hh:mm:ss zzz yyyy Is that what you're wanting to replicate in VB.NET?
