Date Time Format Changed in My Project

Question

When i Move Project From My PC to Another PC then Date Time Format Will be Changed Depend On Diffrent PC Date Time Format. How To Solve the Problem.

I have always been advocating and I guess it should be a standard coding practise NOT to use .ToString() , .ToShortDateString() , etc. because they all use the regional settings of computer your code is running on. First, always use DateTime data-type EVERYWHERE. Format date times ONLY for the display purpose. And use explicity Format Strings such as dd-MMM-yyyy while applying date formats. Furthermore, I am big fan of using absolutely unambugious and completely universally interpretable date formats such as 06-Mar-2017.

Remember these two steps when you are working on date fields in your project, 1)Use the DateTime datatype for date fields 2)Where ever use date filed in c# make a habit to format it as (datefield).ToString("dd-MMM-yyyy"); Output: 21-Mar-2017

@Rathrolla Prem Kumar, the format you used and the output you typed does not match. The format should have been "dd-MMM-yyyy". In any case, I am of the opinion while dealing with computers we should stick to universally neutral date format yyyy-MM-dd. This is the best. While showing, you can use any format you want.
