datetime format in sql server

Store Datetime in sql Server 02/12/2014 09:30 Pm---dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm tt and get this date from Sql server to label in asp i want query for both insert and select thank u advance wish u happy new year

Hi muthukumar  No need to convert date format while inserting a data in sql server. And use normal select query and with date column use lbl1.Text= .ToString( dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm tt ); Front end it will convert the date format and display it in your label.

Its better to use convert function in asp to change the date format. convert the date and fire the insert query using the converted date. Same could be applied before assigning value to the label.
