debugging the asp.net website

for run our asp.net websites we give view in browser option otherwise we start debugging what is difference between these things?

View In Browser is just viewing or previewing or opening the specific page in browser. No debugging of page happening. We can say the debugger is not attached/used. View In Browser is useful to test the page is running or not to check the design and more importantly checking the web server is running or not. Also caching of web pages happens once you click View In Browser. F5 and Start button (green play button) are for debugging the application not for previewing the page in browser. Hope this helped !
