define mdi child from form that not the father

Hello I create a form (ParentForm) as a father with a menustrip ----> searchClient  and from a searchClient I supposed to press search and from ther to get to the clientCard that perform as a child. How can I do thet? Thenk you mali

you need to set the MdiParent property of the child form....ie: ----- Search Menu click event on Parent form---- ClientCard client_card = new ClientCard(); client_card.MdiParent = this; client_card.Show();

ClientCard client_card = new ClientCard (); this .Hide(); client_card.MdiParent(); client_card.Show(); I try agian this is the code I wrote on sherch form to open a other form client as a child but its not working. ths sherch form is not a chid but we open this form from the toolbar on the father form thenk you
