hello guys i m confused with the defintion of QuotePrefix Quotesuffix please provide me with the definition as in the websites i referred tha deftn were too hard to understand so plz give me a definition with a good example thanks

Sometimes database tables have names or contain columns with names which contain spaces or other characters which have a special meaning in the version of SQL used by that database. To ensure that these names are interpreted correctly they have to be enclosed within a pair of special characters which are know as the QuotePrefix and QuoteSuffix characters. For example the square bracket characters '[' and ']' are commonly used for this purpose. So for example if you have a column called first name then you'd refer to it as [first name] in a query to make it clear that first name is one identifier and not two. Similar considerations apply to other database objects which have names containing spaces etc. such as indexes or views.
