Delegates and Events

Question

Hello I would like to know about delegates and events. I understand the usage of multicast delegates but single cast delegates much similar to calling methods directly.. please clarify the difference. please provide clear simple examples for events. Thank you for your guideline

Hi Delegates : If you have multiple methods with same signature and want to call all the methods with single object then we can go for delegates. With the event handler syntax we create a notification system. We attach additional methods without changing other parts of the code. This makes programs easier to maintain.
