Delete column value through delete statement

How can I delete a specified column value through delete statement.

You cant delete a column value. You can always delete row value not column value. Just think if you delete a column value how the table looks like? thats why its not allowed

What you mean by delete a specified column? You want to delete only one column in your table? The only way is just Update the column to null update tbl set col1=null
