Desktop Application Development

Question

Hi sir,

 I am Jayanth,I have developed Desktop application by WPF but my problem is that in client location only Winodows XP SP1/SP2/SP3 are there,But I have developed using VS 2010 4.0 so its not working. Which framework 4.0 or 3.5...?so that which will execute properly irrespective of operating system Sp1/sp2/sp3.... at client location and Difference between Visual Studio 2008 and Visual studio 2008 sp1.. when to use which one..?
