desktp app to connect to ms sql server

Question

I have some data in a text file. Now i want to write an application to send those data to ms sql server running on my pc as a local database. I am a beginner. So can anyone provide some easy tutorial about this?

Hi You may use Import and Export Data tool which is installed with MS SQL Server. To open Import and Export Data wizard simply go to programs and open the application as shown in below image.. And choose the Data Source as Flat File Source... When you have done file selection. Modify options accordingly and press Next and choose the destination as SQL Server Native Client.
