Detect browser back button to logout

Question

Hello I have created project in asp.net  when click browser back or forward button (Navigate browser page) need to redirect into Logout page if its in login state . how can i do it? please help me soon...

You can pass query string parameter while clicking on link. Parameter could be anything set as a flag to know that the request coming from link not from back button or you can use Request.UrlReferrer.ToString();

Thanx....you are right with Load event fired when navigate . but i have two types page loading from master page 1) By clicking link 2)Navigate (Back or forward) . when page load by clicking links its need not be logout if in login state.. Otherwise by 2nd option (forward or backward) will need to be logout if in login state.When i check session in the load event it will logout in both cases..Actually i need to detect page is loading by clicking the links or through navigation(back or forward) .pls help me.

When you navigate through pages. Browser always initiate a new request. So your Load event will always fired up.

Thanx for your replay...when i check session in masterpage load event it will work each of the page load and will logout..i need to redirect to logout page only if the navigation through pages (back or forward pages) in login state.Pls help me..

You can do it without altering the functionality of back button. If you are using master page for all content pages you can check the session value in Page_Load event handler or use can do the same in global.asax file in Request_Start event handler. Request_Start always fires up when browser initiate the request to the server.
