dictionary object and store id as key and value as counter

hi all I'm using window form on this a textbox for Id I want user enter same id three time than show output result if user same id forth time than application disable fro 10 second But use only collection class like Dictionary ArrayarrayList Etc... not use database concept Thanks Rajveer Singh

Hi Rajveer Please make dictionary as static at the top remove it from button click code.This will caluse increment of value. Dictionary dictionary = new Dictionary (); Regarding validuser -Check user id -is it hardcoded or reading from somewhere.

Just declare a single variable and initialize it with 0. lets say int count=0 ; when users enters the wrong id increments it if(id is wrong){ count++; } if count is greater than or equals 3 disable the application and reset the counter. if(count>=0){ count=0; DisableApplcation(); }
