Agile: Agile deals with the processes like Scrum or Canban.. etc. DevOps: DevOps is a culture which needs to be adapted. DevOps deals with CI (Continues Integration) and CD (Continues Delivery) pipelines. DevOps improves collaboration between development team and IT operations team. When Development team and IT team works together and understand each others expectations and needs, they can deliver a successful product. DevOps also encourages us to implement some tools which will solve the common problems that we come across in day to day development environment Now a days some organizations creating a separate DevOps teams which is very bad in my opinion. Because DevOps is a culture which needs to adapted by each team member. Thanks, Siva

It's good that your question directly asks for differences between these two, so it makes sure that you are clear these two are not the same! coming to the answer, Agile is a very broad term and generally anything in software development model which is not "waterfall" is termed as Agile. Meaning instead of following one phase after another in developing a software, you implement an iterative software development methodology. Agile methodology can be implemented by Scrum, Kanban, DSDM, etc. Teams decide their approach based on what suits them. Scrum is most popular and widely used. Coming to DevOps, it's more like a new name given to softwre release and deployment operations. DevOps actually complement/support Agile - How? because in Agile instead of delivering big chunk of work in one go, you deliver small pieces of work at regular intervals (e.g. 2 weeks of sprint in Agile) if you deliver more frequently then you also need tools and technologies which can do build and deployments automatically. and that's what DevOps is. Tools like TeamCity, Puppet, etc. help you achieve these.
