Difference between Interface ID and Object ID

Can any one help me to understand the difference between InterfaceId and Object Id.And also What is GetFactory method ?

Thanks a lot. But i also have doubt regarding COM concepts. What is the role of getfactory in MFC-COM? Can u please clarify my doubt on this.

HI GetFactory mehod returns an instance of the specified data provider. syntax for that is public static DataProviderFactory GetFactory( string providerName  DataProviderInfo [] dataProviders )
