difference between string.Empty and blank value of text

Hi string.empty handles memory efficently than string x=;  actually creates an object but string.empty does not. Also it is a best practise to avoid hardcoding like ;

string.empty not holds any thing...string= is having one undisplayed charecter 'space' \0.  actually creates an object but string.empty does not. string.empty is best way...its reduce memory and garbage. Kindly accept the answer .

Hi String.Empty is a readonly field while  is a const. This means you can't use String.Empty in a switch statement because it is not a constant. Check the below link..
